Evelyn is an experienced and NZ registered Physiotherapist who works in the treatment and prevention of pelvic floor disorders (urinary, sexual and anorectal). She graduated in Bachelor in Physiotherapy at the Federal University of Health Sciences of Porto Alegre – Brazil in 2013 and post-graduated in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy – Functional Urogynecology at Faculdade Inspirar, Brazil, in 2014.
In 2015, she followed her passion for Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy and founded her own clinic in Brazil focused on pelvic floor health with the goal of helping women and men with bladder and sexual dysfunctions and working on the health care of pregnant women.
In 2018, she came to Auckland to improve her knowledge and skills in a personal and professional way and was accepted into the Postgraduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at AUT, which she completed with merit.
She loves helping people to improve their quality of life and finds gratifying the fast improvement of functionality and well-being of her patients after starting Pelvic floor rehabilitation.
Evelyn has an especial interest and is highly skilled in treating: Urinary Incontinence in Men and Women, Pelvic Organ Prolapse, Sexual Dysfunctions (Pain, vaginismus, Vulvodynia, Post-Prostatectomy), Fecal incontinence and Constipation.
Evelyn currently works as a Senior Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist in Tauranga at Family Physio – Papamoa.
When Evelyn is not working, you will find her reading fiction novels and natural gynaecology books, travelling around amazing NZ and hiking with her friends.
